Managing Interest Rate Risk in the Investments Portfolio- Presented by FTN Financial

Join us on Friday, March 21st at 7:00 AM at Red Brick Station for our first breakfast meeting of the year!

Steve Twersky, Executive Vice President and Manager of the Portfolio Strategies Group at FTN Financial Capital Markets, will be presenting.   Breakfast will be served.

Breakfast and Registration: 7:00 AM- 7:30 AM
Presentation: 7:30 AM- 8:30 AM (1 HR CPE eligible)

With interest rates trending higher over the last year many portfolios have moved to net unrealized loss positions.  This has created both internal and external concerns at many institutions and brought the interest rate risk embedded in bond portfolios to the forefront.   This presentation will focus on how to best manage the rate risk in the investment portfolio as part of the full ALM process.   It will also focus on specific strategies to allow your portfolio yield to reprice higher as rates rise.
